ok, ive looked through but as you probably guessed im stuck. ive made my gun but step two says to copy out the gbx model of another gun. how do i do this cos wou cant do this through HMT or n e thing?

ok, accept your point. However, you may remember ages ago someone created the pelican mod for danger island (think thats its name). That was able to run in halo pc, y not a gun?

ok, i fiiinaaalyyyy got my dad to pay up so now i hav milksape 3d. AND IT WORKS!!! so cool. My next annoyin question is how would i be able to make a new gun because obviously its unlikely that i will get the right amount of vertives again. Do i have to rebuild the level or something?

i simply extracted the model (warthog hull in my case) using HMT. Then opened 3DS Max 6 and using an 'obj2max.dle' plugin i was able to import the hull. I did some moving around of vertices but didnt delete or create a single one. I then extracted it using a 'max2obj.dle' plugin. I tried putting it ...

Firstly i must apologise incase this is rong forum.

Anyway. ive made a pretty cool mod for Halo and zipped it but can't find out how to put it into a forum post. Any help?

i've just downloaded these two files and have been taking models out of HMT and editing them in 3ds max 6. However, when i import the model again i get an error box that allows you to try continueing or to just quit. If i click continue nothing happens, im left with the previous model that was in HM...

OK, most other topics can be forgotten now. I've been having help from SSDC (gd man that he is) and he's given me an idea on how to extract models and that from HMT. Basically he says export the meta, open it in 3ds max 6 using JamesD script, then import it back into HMT. Done the first to points an...

i'm not sure that obj2max thing has actually worked. When i load 3ds max it says obj2max could not be loaded. Where am i supposed to place the file and is there a certain one for certain versions of 3ds max.

Firstly, thanks to SSDC for his reply. That now works. Moving on from that subject then, i've been using spark edit recently and getting to grips with that but all i've managed to do is swap the objects around and mve them around the map. 2 things then, 1)how do i put my ramp into sparkedit and 2)ho...

Firstly it says 'There are no actors to export' and all you can click is ok, then once ok is clicked another one comes up and says 'Export Module Failure' and again all u can click is ok. I'm running on 3DS Max 6.
