Help With Video Editing

I am new at vidieo editing, and I was wondering if some of you could lend some knowledge. I wanted to crop the video so that the HUD and weapon arent showing(like in red vs. blue)does anyone know of a program that makes it easy to do this? ANY INPUT APPRECIATED! :cry: :cry:
