looks good, Grenadiac. I've been away for so long... and I have to catch up with everything that's been done recently. - Great to see that you're still managing the site, and the old skin is back in its rightful place.

I've always wondered why the old skin wasn't selectable in our profiles... personally, I always hated this 'new' skin from the day it was implemented...

I think this skin actually encouraged n00bs to join and spam and flame and whatnot... stupid skin....

on account of my "age discrimination"... yeah... um... What I mean, is that halomods is not what it used to be... a year ago, it was a kick a$$ site, with lots of people doing things that were feasible, and not... yeah. BTW, I'm not saying that you won't succeed, I'm just saying that you s...

For some odd reason, I think Grenadiac should have had a higher age requirement for the forums... something like 16, not 13... ugh... n00bs.

A quick question: Will the source code be released?

I'm asking because I'm sick of attempting to use 1yr old source code to make crappy commandline apps... and I'm not a great programmer, so it's kinda important.

The wrath of another useless program has been unleashed... to xbins and xbox-scene...

Read the NFO, and you'll understand how not-far I've gotten with the project....

I meant to say that the version of CVS code that I'm basing my app off of is from that date... My modifications are all from yesterday and today... Heck, I've even gotten CE maps to be recognized at this point, and will have bitmap/sound extraction working under linux in no time... I hope, at least...

Hmm... I managed to get my app working without it... I suppose maybe, that the magic is the same, or disreguarded in my app... which is good if it is, as I was able to get it to think that a CE map was a CE map, without the magic number.....

I'm not dead

Hello EVERYONE! I'm back, after a few months away from the entire scene... Looks like CLuIS's HHTv5 pulled me back into the swing of things... At the moment, I'm attempting to create a program for LINUX users, so that no emulation will be necessary to edit the map files for Xbox and Mac maps. (PC wi...

CE Maps Magic Number....

I'm currently working on getting a version of Halo Map Expander (see xbox-scene a year ago to see what that is,), for the extraction of resources and such on Linux... At the moment, because I do not know what the hell the magic number is for HaloCE maps, I get the following output.... NOTE: I've use...

Magic Number

Does anyone know what the Magic Number is for CE maps?

I'm working on an app, and need to know what the magic is... otherwise, my app is just going to spit out bad data... (yes, it is part of the app "HeXTend")....

is anyone interested in this anymore? I'm typing this on my modded xbox, and wondering if it's worth it to continue a year's work... That's right, bitches! August 6th, 2003 was the day that the news of halomodding came to be on xbox-scene, thanks to yours truly. August 5th/6th marked the first day o...
