Did you put your vehic tag in a new dir ? If so, replace 1 (or more) of the 6 vehicles tags in globals\globals.globals with yours.. You also might have to change the 'hud text message index' under 'export to functions' in your vehicle tag too, e.g. 50 for testing.. you'll see 'press E to enter <need...

View distance limit 3 km ?

Anyone knows if that's the hardcoded limit for objects (not the sky :wink:) to be drawn or is it a value in a tag somewhere ?

The cool thing about CE was that it was possible to have like 2 or more pc's testing a map on a lan without any problems.. now they've adapted the pc's cd-key checking routines in CE.. now you can't test a map simply on 2 pc's over lan :? :(

You need to have a box called frame and link your model to it, then export it as jms. A small box will do, e.g. 10x10x10.

Weapons on local machine but not on others

After picking up CE again i found out that my home-made weapons appear on my machine when creating a lan-game but when others join or when running a ded they aren't visible but they are on the map. Anyone know how to fix this ?

Open ports on ur router, ports 2302-2303 for UDP protocol or if u use other ports; open them. It's probably under NAT somewhere in your router-menus.

You should be able to open nearly all files under the tag folder, including .scenery files.

You got a .scenery or .vehicle file for your object right ? Open it with guerilla and set the collision-model to point to your CG-tag (a .model_collision_geometry file). You can look at an existing .scenery file for example.

Resize the bitmap to a power of 2 size, e.g. 256x256 or 512x512 or 512x256 etc.etc.
