About a week ago i found a tutorial that a guy took a picture of a gun and put it into 3ds max... might have been ms3d... but he made a model of a gun from the picture. does anyone know what post im talkin about?

I downloaded 3ds max 6 2 days ago and still havent even been able to open it up. When I try to open and click run this product it stops at initializing mentalray.dls.. Ive already tried reinstalling and using someone elses mentalray.dls but that didnt work.

Every time i open 3ds max six it get stuck on opening the mentalray.dls plugin. It never loads!!!! Can someone help?
