For the second one, the style of render you're using doesn't go with the style of background. Either switch the render, or redo the background to make it more flat to match the render.

Although the second sig in the first post without the render might look kinda cool :d

Back in my highschool there was a graphic design class, and they had a dark room to hand develop photographs. I never got to do it, but it always looked neat.

Nice contrast in the picture. Out of curiosity, where did you take this?

Too monotone for my liking. Some more color would help.

Put the image on a page and open it in a browser. I think you'll find that the banner consists of too much dead space.

Are those supposed to be buttons?

I'd say scrap it, look at some band sites, then come back and create a new template.

Place the buttons along the side or across the top, and leave room in the body for text.

Banner takes up too much room, try and make it have less height.

Proportions are a bit off on the Spartans. People are hard to draw though.

Version 2 is the best because the contrast adds more depth.

Infrared scopes are in black and white.

The colors don't really match up with the correct heat signatures anyway.

Cool concept though.

The MC really doesn't flow with the rest of the sig. Maybe it's the lighting.

It needs contrast.

Could serve as a background for a picture.

Add a focal point to it, give it some context.

It would probably look better with a picture of wolverine, as opposed to a pixel art form.

His is the only one that has depth and is interesting to look at.

Flash designs really arent that great for websites.

Usually they are over done and take too long to load.

Done right though, a subtle use of flash can look good.

The colors don't work out too well.

Why are there designs all over him? I think it might look better without them...

There is a complete lack of background, which results in a complete lack of depth.

Simple is good if it flows well, but like Kirk said, it doesn't.

Text choice doesn't really make sense imo either. I like the avatar better out of the two though.

I agree with the adding in the clouds.

Polar caps might look good, too.

I thought it was supposed to be pure luck.
