No, Halo 2 Vista has it combined. There is no seperate custom edition download. There isn't going to be modding tool confusion. It's an official editing kit that comes with it. No multitude of hacking programs, those have no need

You can make it, we just don't recommend it, because it's not quality map work. It was mainly played by those who were new to CE, because it's the same as a PC mod.

You use HEKPlus to recursivly extract that .scenerio tag from the map.

Okay, once you import, you view where the error is. Then, delete whatever you imported. Edit your original geometry, and fix up that error. Delete faces, merge faces, whatever. There are holes/overlapping geometry. Fix that up, export again, compile again.

Did you even make shaders? You have to make shaders as the same name as the material name you used in Max for your applied texture. Add your .bitmap tag into them, save them wherever, and recompile your map. If you want to use existing textures, just name your material name in Max whatever the exist...

An effect tag, that predefines where/what the "bitmap(s)" will do, or a model animation. Effects are used in grenade smoke, nuzzles, and other stuff that has moving bitmaps (besides something like the light bridge, or shields, those have moving bitmap scrolls)

They lose their bumpness, unless he bakes the bumps into the texture with Max or something. I say keep it the way it is :P

Udie, long sounds have to be split into permutations, or else data gets lost at the end. They work, but they don't last that long, only 49999 data or something, can't remember the number. So if ya can, try figuring out a way to do so. If you can't, try reminding the user to open the tag in Guerilla,...

Ah, damnit, another person that didn't bother following the Halo Editing Kit tutorial. Nice job. Fix up your spelling too, maybe a bit of English class can help at that?

Open up your .scenerio file in Sapien, and in the top, add the sky. Just browse and select.

Try extracting the original tags with HEK+, and check out the SP scenerio's too see how the AI was designed. Some of it was scripted though.

True, Yellow doesn't use scripts, but it sure as hell seems like the same concept :P MB Bitter can build custom 3p camera prog for this, as settings don't have to be adjusted. Just find it, it's there. It'll prolly be in the levels\test\ folder in the tags folder in the CE directory. Fire of Sapien, and find it in it's proper level folder.
Ya should be thankful, Sapien and HEK are one of the most user friendly-designed mod tools (official) EVER.

Simply done, but I don't think it can work through DDS manipulation, it needs tif files.

All you do is add more sequences to the sprite bitmap with blue outline so the bitmap core seperates it into a sprite sequence that animates. Same thing done in like explosions.
