It cant find the file splinter.jms. Make sure you have is saved in the correct spot. HaloCE\data\levels\splinter\models\splinter.jms. Also make sure you didnt miss spell anything.

I have folowed tutorials and made a simple gun in gmax. But when it is time to export the gun i have to use chimp. Chimp gives you an error if there is not an object named "frame". But with weapons you are supossed to use "frame gun". So I tryed exporting the gun linked to "...

If you use chimp this might of happened because you forgot to edit your .jms it creates..(read the readme that came with chimp).

Unfortunately I dont think you can save it. This has been asked in these forums many times but no one has found an answer. Kirk does it in his tutorials but if you download splinter the light he added to the tunnels dosnt show up.

You navigate to your halo ce directory by typing cd "C:\program files\microsoft games\halo ce". If thats where you installed it. The quotes are nessisary if their are spaces. And if you have installed it on a second hard drive you have to type /d to change the drive, such as cd /d"D:\...

I am working on a desert map and I would like to make sand blow around in the wind like a sand storm. I added wind and under particle system you can add a weather_particle_system tag. This is possible to make in guerilla but i have no idea how to make it. Does any one know how? Also i can't find any...

If you used chimp to export to jms this probaly happened because you forgot to edit the jms file in notepad. It explains in the read me that came with chimp. Alos you can uncheck the box that says write debug info, then you dont have to edit it. This might also be caused by something else. Hope this...

If i click the "..." next to particle system it shows that i need a *.weather_particle_system. This can be made in Guerilla but im not sure how to make it.

Sand Storm?

You got those because your material names had numbers in them and hek ignores the numbers for some reason so Material # 1 and Material # 2 both look like Material #. And yes you need to create shaders for all of your bitmaps.

Its outdoors and I did create the shaders and the sky in guerilla. I had also compiled an earlyer version of my map and that worked corectly, but now I get this even if I open up a previous seccesfull version in gmax export it, compile it, and open it in sapien.
